Eco Express Car Wash: Thornton Site

Eco Express’s second site, located in Thornton, CO, was a full service car wash until being converted to an express tunnel in late 2016. It features the same menu as the other Eco Express location, though the tunnel is very different. 2 sets of wraps, 2 dual counterweight top brushes, a Bison brush with SFTBG18 units attached, and a set of SFB50 side washers do most of the cleaning. It should be noted that the top brushes are both configured to switch direction, unlike the units owned by Quick Quack. High pressure cleaning is done using a set of side blasters and a 5-manifold OMNI. While not too visible in the video, Simoniz Hot Wax & Shine is applied via a double drip foamer in the rinse area. The grand entrance arch has been modified to make it possible to switch out the panels from “Bug Remover” to “Mag Chloride Remover” depending on the time of year. This is also the first tunnel I have been to that uses Sonny’s PipeLites. Like the other Eco Express site, it uses a combination of CSI/Lustra and Simoniz chemicals.
